In this movie, Alex Pruitt proves to be more of charmer than Kevin McAllister in the other Home Alone movies. The number of comical scenes in this film is somewhat lacking, but the crotch shots and the various "accidents" suffered by the criminals heavily make up for it. The characters' bickering with the parrot only added to comical IQ of this movie. It was the slapstick times and heartwarming moments combined with the after-Christmas-before-New-Year's backdrop that inticed me to buy this movie. Anyway, all in all, this installment in the Home Alone series is more comical and more charming than the first, second, and fourth installments.
